Panasonic AG-DVC-200E Professional Digital Video Camera /Recorder (standard format) & PC Video Editing System Ideal professional digital firewire set-up for any video training school where full-size handling and shoulder mounting techniques can be practiced, along with camera recording skills for prospective camera operators and video production trainees. The unit can use Canon and Fujinin lenses The Panasonic AG-DVC200E is a professional camera/recorder for Electronic News Gathering (E.N.G.) but is also very suited to video production for drama and nature documentaries. The system is modular, with separate lens unit, electronic viewfinder and power assembly - all being included in this sale. The camera mounting plate is included (see photos) along with 8 x 180min tapes and 6 x 124min tapes, ( all used but can be overwritten many times without loss of quality through 'dropout'). All tapes have only been recorded on once except the 2 Sony tapes. Some facts about the professional quality of this product: 1. The AG-DVC200E camera unit cost £4500 when purchased 2. USB Keyboard Notes: DVStorm2 is a professional editing suite and cost in excess of £1000 when purchased by me (excluding the cost of the Desktop PC which was another £800). So total spend was in excess of £6000.00 for this video production setup. The Abit-IT7 motherboard was top-of-the-range when purchased and has RAID facilities for increased performance. The unit has excellent over-clocking capabilities. The system contains two Hard Disk Drives: 60gb and 80gb. I have thoroughly cleaned out the system box; replaced the power supply internal fan; removed P4 CPU and cleaned up the fan and heat-sink. The CPU was replaced using fresh thermal heat-sink compound and the whole system tested.
